Finally watching this in 2024 in prep for the sequel, I’ve got to admit I’m disappointed. Compared to other zombie apocalypse depictions, I found this one whole unconvincing, with Danny Boyle seemingly sacrificing believability with his desire for quirky scenes. However I guess I have to give credit that this movie was a first of its kind.
