Knew this wouldn’t be for me, but ended up liking it up until the last act. Great performances and edges satire.
Again, 20 mins too long. The tone was spot on until the third act and then it just became stupid and lost me.

Reminded me of the tense chaotic dark comedy beats of Barry or The Bear
But for me it was another film that was 20-30 mins too long which really distracted from the overall experience. Cut to the meat of the story quicker and wrap it up quicker. First 1/3 and last 1/3 really dragged.Translated from by

I really liked this film.
The lead performances of Thompson and McCormack are beautiful and compelling.
The film is essentially just two people talking in a hotel room and yet it’s entirely engaging. The performances certainly take some of the credit there, but so does the script which is smart and perfectly balanced. It never lingers too much on the sex talk or the more lamentful discussions of their lives and regrets, which ensures the movie doesn’t become sluggish.
