  The beautiful landscapes and scenery create this warm welcoming feeling, paired with the shooting choice allows you to feel transported to this small japanese village. The setup and the slow decent in to chaos is masterfully executed and is immaculately paired with perfect scoring. At first I truly did not see the beauty in the film itself but as time went on it continues to envelope you.

  This film knocked it out of the park representing a snapshot of the post war sentiment of many people. An amazing representation as always from Toshiro Mifune and Takashi Shimura
