A film about a man developing a technology to try and save a dying city made by a man breaking the rules of filmmaking to try and save cinema. For both men, there are obstacles to overcome, with time being the greatest.

I can only imagine the 2024 remake of this film. Instagram models are being murdered in Redondo Beach. The killer rewatches his murders on his iPhone 14 Pro with the Noir filter turned on. He works by day as a camera utility on Bravo’s reality TV series Vanderpump Rules. Moira Shearer’s ballet replaced by an up-and-coming Tik Toker doing a dance popularized by Charlie XCX. “More milk?” becomes “Another White Claw?” Woof!
Should they make this movie? No.
