The Brutalist 2024
i am not quite convinced.
the first half was an absolute masterpiece, exciting, daring but something changed after intermission leading me to wonder if it would be better without one. the performances were all around great with guy pearce being reminiscent of daniel day lewis in there will be blood.
the cinematography was stunning the whole way through though i felt the score was not used enough. and unfortunately i feel i may have missed dialogue bc of the low…
