  an impressive project obviously, and my kind of thing so easy to draw me in, with a few lovely performances, but like overall maybe not worth the 12 years’ work…? Sometimes in danger of feeling that it thinks that it is more profound than it is.

  I mean it’s really gorgeous and heartbreaking. R. Williams is perfect, all of the boys overact but that kind of makes it school-play-esque, which just adds to it really, the writing is melodramatic at times which just makes it all the more real to me, because of how intensely the boys are feeling it all in their teenage minds. Some lovely moments of a group of boys displaying friendly brotherly love too, in an unapologetic way. Such a great film
