i think for a Saw movie it's good. as a horror though, eh i wouldn't venture to say many praises. i think conceptually it's intriguing and had lots of potential to be something great. the effects are really cool and i think the production was great. where it lacked in plot it was very much so made up for in gore. it's probably the goriest Saw in the franchise. there was one good twist that i think deserves noting. was it good enough to deem the movie worthwhile? i honestly couldn't say, it depends on what kind of horror suits your fancy as a viewer.

tbh it wasn't that great
it felt like the writer died midway through writing and a person just tried to pick up where they left off. except they spoke english as a second language and just didn't see the writer's vision.in all honesty, there are a lot of plotholes, the "backstory" doesn't explain much, and it relies on cheap predictable jumpscares. it wasn't the worst horror i've ever seen but i definitely was happy when it finally finished so i could go home and watch bojack

it is a cinematically beautiful movie. the visuals are so clean and elicit all the right emotions. my only reservation is how slow the pace of the movie actually is. i under though, that it just was a lot of content that needed to be shown.
