Kinds of Kindness 2024
Not sure the runtime justified any of whatever ~this~ was. Big fan of story 1, not so much story 2, story 3 was good. It's been over two weeks since I've seen this and I haven't thought about it since. With maybe the exception of Poor Things and The Favourite, Lanthimos leaves my brain in a muddle, almost like I'm too dumb to understand what he's trying to do. Strands of theme, of loneliness, the absurdity of human connection- but not much else.

Really had me there for a minute. To the credit of the filmmakers- this had me pretty scared, and I loved the use of frames within negative space- always checking the corners of the screen.
