  i don’t wanna say i felt underwhelmed but i left the theater feeling like it didn’t really resonate with me emotionally as much as i had hoped but then i sobbed the entire car ride home. as soon as i had that space where it was truly just me sitting with what i saw god it all hit me like a truck. amazing, gut wrenching, beautiful, terrifying film. need to rewatch this as soon as i can.
