Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
Always difficult for me to fully engage with a movie when the characters are so unlikable. Clementine and Joel’s relationship felt flat and dissolved just as quickly as it began, giving me no time with the characters to care about their eventual fate.
The film’s depiction of memories however—how they fade and seamlessly collapse into one another—was expertly crafted and brilliantly edited.
