What's Eating Gilbert Grape 1993
The acting was amazing but the plot was super slow. This is Leonardo's best performance. He is so convincing! Johnny Depp was okay. The whole movie just seemed to be missing something for me. Oh yeah! A plot. It was great acting but the story went no where. The plot surrounds Gilbert (Johnny Depp) and how he feels like he is stuck in his hometown. Also, his mom is obese. But other than those two points, there doesn't seem to be any plot.

Room 2015
Room was emotional and imaginative. I thought I would be traumatized by it, but it wasn't bad. Very intense, and definitely worth a watch. The acting is phenomenal! I can understand why Brie Larson won an academy award for it. Jacob Tremblay was amazing also. Veiwer discretion is advised. I wouldn't let children watch it!!! It's rated R for the f word, which wasn't used excessively. And for some sexual content that is implied. You never see anything but you know what happened. Worth a watch if you feel emotionally ready to watch something difficult.
