Clever idea about the concept of time and how we spend it. The value of family and time spent and going back to fix things was nice. A different twist to your typical rom com. The ending scene of the dad taking his son to the ocean one last time as a boy really got to me especially as I thought about my son. Life goes by quickly and the time we spend with loved ones seem to be the most important. A rewatch movie for simply for the message.
I wonder when Nolan made this movie if he fully understood how much of a masterpiece this would be. Kind of like many of the greats who made their mark on mankind: Abraham Lincoln as the president, Beethoven with his music, Michaelangelo in the Sistine chapel, Michael Jordan with a basketball, and Christopher Nolan with intersteller, with the help of Hans Zimmer might I add bringing the music to life and making it feel out of this world.

They took a classic, nearly copied the whole story which almost never works, and created another masterpiece with New York city as their canvas. Didn't realize how much I loved watching Harry and Marv get brutally beaten for round 2. The voice recorder was a fun new gadget. The home alone dynasty ends here.
The movie is iconic. The one liners ring true throughout the whole movie. Clark Griswold is too good. I just wish at the end of this movie people would not set down the Griswold family until next Christmas but immediately put on family vacation. That movie is almost equally as good. The Griswold dynasty ends there.
