In the Tall Grass 2019
About as uninteresting and repetitive as an actual grass field, In the Tall Grass has an interesting concept but gets stuck in the mud.
I counted at least ten generic horror cliches in the first sixteen minutes. Set in the middle of nowhere, with abandoned buildings, a church, a pregnant woman, random crows, a dead dog, maggots, flies, a character driving an old truck, a weird child. and of course the cell phones don't work.
