  The terms thought provoking and conversation starters have always sat weird with me while reading the discussions over this film.

  While for most of us who live in the "developed" digest world affairs through a lense of superiority, the reality is that for a lot of people on this earth, this fictional war is the rral nightmare.

  Which is why applaud the use of war photographers as main protagonists as it adds this level of familiarity to the content we all consumed, either voluntarily or involuntarily, over the West's wars in the east, painting the Civil War as something out of norm, but still something familiar.
