  The Room ultimately represents faith, the deep rooted wish and believe that one day a miracle can occur and then our lives will be changed for the better. Its not about whats actually in the room, but instead about the journey towards it.
  The characters journey to the room is sort of a metaphor for our lives, its about how we keep going,  even through hard times, pushed forward by our hope and faith that we will eventually reach our destination and find happiness.
  Of course this film can be interpreted in many different ways but this is my way of looking at it.
