A really cool and enjoyable film which explores different character’s final moments and thought processes.
Covers deep and difficult conversations which suck you into their world for the duration.
I especially liked the conversation with his mother.
The tone changes pretty dramatically based on the scene and can sometimes be hard to take it seriously.
The effects are great in this movie, but the shrimp scene is the grossest.
I think I’ve finally been convinced to not inject myself with black market fluorescent drugs.
I haven’t watched smile 1 and so cannot comment on how well smile 2 plays off as a sequel, though as an independent experience I had a great time figuring out the demon and what might happen next.
The demon’s methods play perfectly into the pacing making each scene feel like a blur, quickly forcing you to go through many events which would be an anxious person’s worst nightmare.
The sense of dread as the movie progresses is fantastic, instilling…
This is a beautiful family film that oozes with passion, it blends smooth and creative animation, fantastic pacing and wonderful messages into a lovely heartfelt package.
