  Hilariously bad, I imagine this is what watching The Room (2003) must’ve felt like when it first came out. While I will admit some of the visuals are pretty stunning and warrant the visit to an IMAX theatre, they’re unfortunately let down by the abysmal lack of substance found in Coppolas plot. This is an over-indulgent pat on the back from Coppola to himself, in which he “explores” “deep themes” on civilization, society and power. Overall none of these themes…
