  I've seen just three of WKW's films now, you'd think I'd be used to this but thankfully I'm not. The cinematic language he speaks will never not feel like a revelation to me, I can be sick with the flu on a Saturday afternoon and be reborn in a theater, he does that for you. Part of me wants to learn why that is, part of me is too content with the feeling of experiencing this magic for the first time over and over again.

  I can't help but come away feeling significantly more pity for those who perpetuate this evil. As much as I've read and seen about the genocide, it's nonetheless sobering how unprepared I was for how disconcerting the cruelty on display in this was. The only thing on my mind while watching and what I'll continue to think about for some time is the incongruity; humans should not be able to do this to other humans. School me on the realities…
