I know ledgers joker was meant to be in this film before his passing and on a rewatch I can really see how they wrote Banes character to fulfill the plot ideas they had for ledgers joker.
The whole idea of Bane giving Gotham back to the people, creating chaos and anarchy feels like it was written for an agent of chaos, the joker.
This is how you send off characters. It’s so refreshing to go to the cinema to watch a new film in a series that hasn’t been touched for years and for it to actually be good and not some cash grab, nostalgia bait sequel. While this is mostly a credit to the book series already having told a compelling story I think it was excellently adapted to film and heavily relies on visual story telling to engage the audience.

Yo Dre I’ve got something to say. I’ve been a fan of N.W.A for a long time but never bothered to learn anything about the artists. Little did I know these guys were some of the most influential musicians in modern history. They raised awareness on the injustice black community’s faced in America while spitting some hard ass lines and making young people listen even despite the backlash from police force over certain songs. Great acting, great story telling and obviously fantastic sound track.
