There are nice parts of this film, getting to see Ghidorah get ganked by the half the Godzilla pantheon is a real treat, and the monster fights are really fun here. However the plot feels like a worse re-tread of IOAM, with the alien equivalents being significantly more boring. shame to say I was disappointed for what's meant to be one of the biggest films of the showa era.

Son of Godzilla 1967
Y'know what, Minilla is an ugly fuck but I kinda like that about him, his antics with Goji were really fun and campy. It's just a shame this has one of the godzilla plots I care the least about, it hardly feels important or relevant. The monster fights were also unfortunately a bit boring this time around too.

If this is one of the weaker bong films than that's how you know he's goated. the concept absolutely rocks and manages to take it really far, and it's always nice to see Chris Evans as an actual actor. some moments are absolute cinema but it does drag and fail in some areas, albiet a banger through and through.

The scene where Kyomoto's manga strip floats back under the door to Fujino and it's a simple gag manga about Fujino is so utterly gut wrenching.
At a surface value it's just a dumb joke but you can see just what it meant to both Kyomoto and Fujino. It showed just how much Kyomoto admired Fujino and how that seeing that impacts Fujino.
The films constant theme of how art that seems meaningless can be so important to just one or two is incredible, and shows just how precious making art really isTranslated from by
