I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Breaking the 4th wall narrating is such a big pet peeve of mine. I don’t really care if it’s an integral part of the story telling it will ruin a movie quick for me. I love the themes it’s going for, nevertheless it all falls short for me. Maybe it’s because I was already off put from the narration, but the pacing is unbearable & the dialogue is comical (not in a good way). Also I love when a move makes me feel weird after watching it but the entire vibe of this movie felt uncomfortable (again, not in a good way).
