Gladiator II 2024
Got some great action and a solid story. It had a much wider scale than Gladiator 1 but I don’t think they fully succeeded with it.
They took a risk adding extra layers with a more politics focused film and I don’t think it fully paid off.
If anything it felt like the political side was the main focus and the main character’s gladiatorial struggle was more to have a break from the serious and watch some action.

Great story with some really good acting. It was shot really well and it brought up some pretty cool philosophical debates about good vs evil and the American Justice system.
Whilst it was a really well written story, there were a few characters that were a bit too one dimensional where they were just there for comic relief via some stupid one liners or just acting dumb.
