i love the soundtrack, storyline and anime scenes of o-ren ishii the most in this film. the characters are so iconic along with the beautiful cinematography too. quentin tarantino will forever be one of my favorite directors. ♡

this is a flawless masterpiece. the characters were written perfectly, especially andrew. i cannot express how much awe i was in throughout the whole movie because of the cinematics and emotion. the amount of soul that this film has is incredible.

this is a great movie, it really explores how addiction is a real struggle that people deal with and the emotional turmoil that it causes. the acting in this film was outstanding too, timothée really represented the agitation that comes from an addiction and every other emotion perfectly.
i now need to get my hands on the book ♡

i'm currently reading the book at school so i decided to watch the movie and wow.
throughout the movie the representation of brotherhood and friendship was so deep, especially between johnny and ponyboy. the dynamic of dally being protective and empathetic over johnny because he sees his innocence and kindness that he feels he has lost is so perfect too.
the coppola family are really talented at creating outstanding cinematic pieces for sure. the casting of this movie was immaculate, they all played their roles so well.
