Mickey 17 2025
Basically a really horny Studio Ghibli movie. The humour was a little hit and miss, but this was fun overall. Robert Pattinson’s doing great work here. Naomi Ackie was also really fun. I’m with the crowd on this one: it’s a lesser film from Bong Joon-ho, but that’s still a high bar.

Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue 2010
I don’t use this half-star rating lightly. In fact, I think this is only the second time I’ve ever used it. I can think of three (3) things I liked about this movie:
1) There was a neat Pirates of the Caribbean style theme at the beginning of the movie.
2) The shots inside the hollow tree tunnel were quite pretty.
3) The Fat Controller’s line at the end: “I can find another hat, but I’ll never find another Thomas.”…
