My god, seeing the passion he has for working on his music is genuinely awe-inspiring, seeing how happy he looks while he and the orchestra play made me feel the exact same way while hearing scores that I’ve either grown up to, listened to constantly or heard from watching.
(I may have to see him live now…)
It is what it is, I wanna say I expected something good because it’s A24, but I knew it was gonna be bad, I just hoped it would give similar vibes to the parody movies of the 2000s. Plus, having the kid from Deadpool 2 & Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and Argyle from Stranger Things, they were absolutely just there to bring people in because they’d recognise them.
I wholeheartedly enjoyed this, from every joke to Jim Broadbent singing Like A Virgin, this could possibly be my favourite musical movie
