Nicholas Cage playing a deranged individual on what looks like the verge of a manic episode (WHICH HE DID SO WELL) was not on my bingo card for 2024 but then again he is one in real life. So… I decided against my better judgement, acted impulsively, and watched this movie. I don’t know what it was… the amount of camp this movie gave off which was very reminiscent of an early 2000s parody movie, such as Epic Movie or Disaster movie, and their desperate attempt to make it serious was a failure… there were some funny aspects to the film, well only one comes to mind.
