  tears streaming from start to finish. gonna give this a good couple of years before i’m ready to watch this again.
   it hit so many cords for me. recommended to all who have had to grapple with identity, immigration, individuality vs community, and so on. 
  i left the theatre thinking about how grief is for the living, funerary rituals help the living keep going. this movie helped me settle a couple of personal dilemmas i had, and that was its gift to me.
