As an enjoyer of surrealism, we pushed it here buddy. I stand on A24 being the best film production studio in the business, but there’s one scene in this film that needed to be cut because it took me out of the illusion. Just watch it, and you’ll know. The message is in there somewhere, I just need a 2nd or 3rd watch because it really is that incomprehensible.

I don’t agree with any of the hedonism or demonic references in this film. However, this movie pushes the boundaries so much that it’s possibly a look at what good filmmaking will look like in the future. So revolting indeed but my god can these people work a set and camera. Needless to say our color people cooked and the cast was woven so well. I honestly would make this film.
