Little Children 2006
That shot of Jackie Earle Haley swimming the pool and everyone on the edge watching him? POSITIVELY HAUNTING.
Would’ve liked to see Patrick Wilson back lip the handrail or nosegrind shuv the ledge but will settle for seeing his butt.
What an intense, challenging, gripping, depressing, and (at times) funny movie. I could not predict what was going to happen next. I feel sick in the best way.

The Decline of the American Empire 1986
I’m very sick today and this has made me much sicker. These boomers need to shut da hell up.

Death Trip 2021
I do not say this lightly: this is a really good movie, worth far more than the $6.99 I paid for it on iTunes.
Performances are top tier, the gore is great, the cinematography is by Spence so obviously it’s very dope.
There’s one sequence that’s very hard to watch—no spoilers—but the party scene was tough to swallow just cause there are so many familiar faces all in one place and that made me very sad to think there won’t be any Montreal parties I can’t Irish goodbye out of for a very long time.
Please, I’m begging you, watch this movie because it’s really good.

The Substance 2024
Saw it again because I’m a nasty lil guy.
Still really liked it. Even though it took the cinema du parc audience to warm up to the fun of The Substance.
It might be just a snootier crowd, but someone did faint! They had to pause the movie after the activation scene to make sure the person who fainted was alright! Hope they’re ok. Didn’t realize this sort of thing happened in real life. Thought it was just something PR and Marketing people made up. Cinema du Parc staff handled it with grace I thought.
