wow. such an incredible show, that so honestly thrusts you into it's world. making you feel everything as if it's so real and personal to you. the flashbacks, recounting her trauma, almost looking forward to how good her life was, but then remembering it's only the past. it feels so real. it so delicately, and correctly handles trauma, and how people feel in different DV situations. turbulence, understanding, acceptance and closure. few shows have been able to give me a literal panic attack because it felt just that real. the writing effortlessly puts you in Alex's shoes.
