The potential was there, but the execution was a complete mess. I honestly don’t understand how it ended up this way. Even Robert De Niro’s performance couldn’t save this one. With the right direction, it could’ve easily become another “Goodfellas” or “The Irishman” but they missed the ultimate opportunity.
