It is almost unbearable to see the rescue crew in the opening scenes of "Chernobyl" completely unprotected enter the overheated nuclear power plant. We all know they are facing a certain death, they do not. They know nothing about how the radiation-damaged flesh on their bodies will slowly fall off in a few days.
It is cleverly done down to the smallest detail and as far from feelgood as one can get.
But if you only have the strength - if you can stand it - see it, see it and fear man!

Reality, dream and imagination all replace each other quickly and sometimes imperceptibly.
Our protagonist Mima's real life along with the character she play on a tv-show, which more times than not, reflects her own personal life and struggles, helps to alternately explain the main plot and alternately send us down a rabbit hole of weirdness, until one feels rather insecure about most things. It is stylized and beautiful, but there is also a seriousness and a consequence in it all.…

Schwarzenegger and his merry band of badass mother-chuckers are sent on a rescue mission in the jungle. This however soon turns into a quest for survival, as they are being hunted down and killed, one by one, by a strong and unseen killer.
This was such a bloody good time, a perfect action/horror hybrid, sprinkled with those cheesy 80's one liners we love.

This had some seriously creepy moments!

Ariana Grande is perfectly cast as the future good fairy Glinda. She is by far the most charming character with the most humor. You can't help but think of Barbie or Elle in "Legally Blonde". They have the same funny little quirks and are something I would've loved to see more of.

Ariana Grande's voice also carries the vocal numbers with admirable confidence, as does Cynthia Erivos who plays Elphaba, both perfect in their respective roles.
