Absolutely brilliantly done, such a simple story idea but executed so well. The tension throughout was amazing and Matt Damon plays his role very well. Mark Wahlberg is unbelievable and the acting on the whole really helps propel the film. I’m not too happy with the ending but it’s easily overlooked by the incredible first 2 hours and a quarter of film

I had very high hopes going into this film and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I think the short runtime of this film really fitted it and if it had been 2hr+ it would’ve petered out. Very enticing throughout and a brilliantly gritty representation of that late 80s era

Honestly the greatest and coolest plot twist ever, expect maybe parasite, and this left me thinking the film was brilliant. However the majority of the movie was rather unexciting

Certainly the worst of the alien series that I’ve seen, all the cool elements of previous aliens were gone. Cool spaceships… gone, Cool weapons… gone. Even the alien itself wasn’t thattt cool. It did have a few good tense scenes but overall a lowlight in the franchise
