This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Humans are remarkable. We manage to create stories that contain no humans at all and still say a lot about us. About how family can be more than just blood, how kindness is not a weakness, and the importance of community and sacrifice.
The Wild Robot is another Dreamworks movie, and though it does match Puss in Boots in terms of visual creativity, it does continue the trend away from the Pixar animation style.

Beautiful.
We'll start with the art style. I love the trend in recent years of studios movie away from the Pixar psuedo-realistic style that has dominated animation since Toy Story that I think was kicked off by Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse.
