Pertama kali nonton kayanya Usmar Ismail dan bagus banget!!! *Tanda serunya sampai ada 3*
Ketika tiga dara menyanyikan lagu pertama sebagai openingnya, saya sudah senyum-senyum lebar sendiri. Gak menyangka kalau Indonesia ternyata pernah bikin film musikal dengan kualitas sebaik ini di tahun 1950an, tidak kalah kok dengan film musikal klasik dari berbagai negara. Sayangnya, banyak yang belum tau tentang filmnya, terutama orang Indonesia sendiri.
Kalau suka film-film musikal, wajib juga nonton film ini yah!

At times, life's not fair, isn't it? I do believe everyone will agree to that. We will never know how much of hardships someone has gone through. So this movie a reminder to be kind at all times and may all of us hang in there.
Ono Machiko gave a powerful performance, her surpressed emotions were reflected in her eyes. I always love her since I saw Zekkyou years ago, it was unforgettable.
This movie gave me a dose of a good cry today.
