If it was never new, and it was never old, then it’s a folk song.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but with this- my third- viewing I’m ready to declare it. There Will Be Blood may have finally been dethroned. This might just be my favourite film.

But, it comes with a caveat. I don’t think I would have the resonance, or this constant thought of the film, had it been watched on release. I had no reason not to…

When You Were 11, What Did You Think You Would Be Doing Now?

I find myself typing this I approach the ending of the film. Trying to hold back just how much I get emotionally from it. But alas, here we are at 1:30 in the morning after a great day with friends and family, celebrating another spin around the sun.

Core memories being made, and storing them for later.

My favourite film of the year.

Remember when The Simpsons lampooned pop culture and satirised American family values? Mocking the world it inhabited rather than being a slave to pop culture and becoming the poster child of American life?

Look, I can’t even say it sucked without looking like the Comic Book Guy.

When’s the next one Disney- I never learn.

    The Simpsons in Plusaversary

This special has Homer and Goofy sitting at a bad party at Moe’s talking how sad they are before Lisa comes in singing about how great Disney+ is.

The Simpsons are blinking twice, they are being held hostage.
