Paprika 2006
I left the theater without words for this one frfr. Mindbending anime movie about what is possible when you dream. The fantasy elements were very very intriguing to say the least, and I was unsettled to say the least. Other plot elements left something to be desired. The love story was pretty half baked, and the “twist” was not that surprising. I will add the caveat that I watched this dubbed not subbed, which normally detracts from my experience watching anime films.

The Fall Guy 2024
Ryan Gosling is as unserious as I’ve ever seen him. It has elements of an action/adventure and rom-com with a plot that’s easy to follow but not particularly inspiring. A silly movie that was still a fun watch.
