I really enjoyed this movie. Timothy was actually excellent as Bob Dylan. Great examination of one of the OG artists who couldn’t help but evolve. The idea that people were so upset about Dylan using an electric guitar always seemed like an esoteric idea to me. Who cares? But this movie did a great job of putting it all into context. If every piece of art passes a purity test, then no art is challenging.

A Real Pain 2024
What a beautiful movie. I don’t think I have anything profound to say about it. It brings you along for a thoughtful, reflective, and relatable journey through one’s past. In some ways, you are the sum of the people who came before. Yet, the way that you relate to that history is entirely unique. I really enjoyed this movie and cried in the car on the way home.
