saw a lot of not so positive reviews, so i was skeptical but tried to keep an open mind going into this. i’m glad i did because i thought this was really good. not really anything new or shocking, but a nice directorial debut. super disturbing, great performances all around, even thought i believe Ayo Edebiri sorta dropped off in the later half of the movie, John Malkovich gave an incredible performance. honestly just a weird and fun watch, and me and my mom had the theater all to ourselves on a sunday night, so definitely worth my time.

Damien Chazelle going from la la land to whiplash to this is just insane. he has so much range as a director. this movie is absolutely incredible. i couldn’t take my eyes off of the screen and this phenomenal cast of characters. i know this movie had…
