The Lawnmower Man 1992
I was once in a room where a Hollywood agent (who looked a bit like Tim Heidecker plus a few extra pounds, and minus any sense of irony) was introducing his client Brett Leonard as the "visionary director of Lawnmower Man." I hadn't seen it at the time, so who was I to judge?
Well now I have seen The Lawnmower Man. And what a visionary indeed! Ahead of his time! My, how the prescient Brett Leonard foresaw the way in which mediocre filmmakers would cram their movies full of overcooked CGI imagery.
