The intro credit sequence really promised an action packed 2.5 hours of fun. But instead, the movie tries to be a father-daughter soap opera with like 10 other no name, half baked characters that dont have anymore then a few quippy lines. Would've been a lot better if there were less characters, allowing more screen time for the more important roles

I was not entertained
Im not very into the ancient rome theme so it was kind of hard to get into. The plot is a bit hollow, a generic revenge tale. Not much depth in any of the characters.
Joaquin Phoenix has a great perfomance. The score is really great. The action scenes were dissapointing though. Overall it's way too long. Apparently I watched the extended edition which didn't help the slow pacing or my attention span.
