Mickey 17 = 2.5 out of 5. Surprisingly dark and poignant, ruined by ridiculously excessive and unnecessary TDS. 50% fresh and powerful exploration of Exploitation and the value of Life, 50% unfunny and over-the-top SNL skits. Pattinson was amazing through and through, mad respect #IMDb

Anora (2024) = 4 out of 5. Jarring two-movies/treatments-in-one narrative aside, this slowly unfolds into a surprisingly powerful and cleverly well-told commentary on Desire (Love?) and Power. Brilliant and heart-crushing in parts. #IMDb

A bit too basic in parts and tellngly riddled with confused choices, but amazingly makes up for the disaster which was the previous installment. The most magical in the trilogy. #IMDb
For the record - Mads was the better Grindelwald. Sorry, Johnny.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse = 4 out of 5. More-more-more syndrome, distractingly/excessively done d0oDbRuHhUmOrl0l, and horribly bookmarked non-ending aside, this was absolutely breathtaking. Better in some ways, worse in others vs the first.
Spot and Miguel were the biggest missed Character opportunities, and ended up being underdeveloped (worse, possibly 'saved for later so you watch the next installment) agents of Plot #IMDb
