Dances with Wolves 1990
Very promising first half, but unfortunately this movie suffers from having intentions as "noble" as the "savages" it portrays, while falling short of the mark. Like some modern missionary, instead of having to Christianse these people to make them human, this movie thinks we need hours of sappy "humanisation" before we see the Lakota people as, well, people.
