Man. if only they had made multiples of Nasha, humanity would be saved! The tone and political "satire" of this movie reminded me a lot of Don't Look Up, and that's not a good thing. Robert Pattinson holds this movie together and continues to prove he's one of the best actors working today. But Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette are just terrible and way too over the top. I feel like this movie is what Hail Caesar! wanted to be.

While I would've much preferred a thriller in the vain of Fincher's usual style, you have to give him credit for doing something completely different at this stage in his career! This movie does a very good job of admiring the golden years of old Hollywood while also exposing its corruption and cynicism.

Now give us Mindhunter season 3 you son of a bitch!
