  Was never gonna be able to touch the first one, but got better as it went along! A lot of stuff felt forced or gimmicky, some bangers for songs but none of them again touched anything from the first one. Some nice moments though throughout!

  -Elio’s dad’s lil monologue near the end is genuinely some of the most incredible and impactful writing I have experienced
  -Timmy is the greatest actor of this generation easily, especially if this is the work he was doing at 20/21
  -This is not what I thought they meant when they said Armie Hammer was eating people

  Acting is top top top, the weird music choices that sometimes don’t seem to fit what’s happening is kinda awesome, only reason it isn’t higher is sometimes I was like this needs to go somewhere a bit more. Also nobody plays a Paul dano character quite like Paul dano
