Alien: Romulus 2024
An alien movie has never, and will never, miss. Period. Kudos for them for maintaining the same storyline and not overdoing it with the CGI. Final note: the zero gravity scene was one of my all time favorites. Good show!

Anora 2024
Movie was absolutely chaotic and had such a unique plot. The way it was filmed was like a stream of consciousness with this wild man hunt going down to find this scrawny White Russian dude. Anora was a great character and the film does a great job of being absolutely hilarious over what was a really depressing story. Good show!

Gladiator II 2024
Really entertaining movie from start to finish. In typical Ridley Scott fashion, the CGI was incredible if not overdone - there were a few scenes where the special effects would take you out of the moment (i.e. sharks in the coliseum). I also thought the mother’s role could have been much stronger in the film, but overall, Denzel stole the show, Paul Mescal was a badass, and Pedro pascal was banging as usual. Darn good sequel here
