Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain 2021
The avg. review here seems to skew towards MEGA FUCKING U TRUSTWORTHY. Just ask yourself if you loved the voice writing Kitchen Confidential or you really liked his little Portugal episode with the fun lil canned fishes before diving in. I loved Bourdain and I enjoyed that this doc felt so honest. The Godfather 1972
The Godfather is the golden standard for crime films. Characters are everything here - FFC has uncomplicated faith in complicated protagonists.
There is much to be said about this film that’s been said already, and by far more qualified reviewers than Ian on Letterboxd. Is this the greatest movie of all time? I’m not as sure as some others are - but it truly stands alone in more ways than one.
