When bad people create violence, it is human instinct to enact violence back upon them, because they must endure what they have inflicted upon others, right? However, when we punish those who we believe must be punished, we are not extinguishing the old violence, we are simply creating new violence.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Second watch and this is still an incredible film. However, a few flaws make themselves known.
Strengths:
The cinematography is simply wonderful. Not only does the 35mm film format make the wonderfully consistent color scheme sing, but the framing, variety of shots, and camera movements all mesh together to make the camera a member of the cast without it being distracting, which is tough to pull off.
