To me, this was a truly spiritual film. I hope people do not approach this movie as another indie where nothing happens, we are shown this man's entire world and how much beauty is in it. Hirayama has forsaken the complications of the material in his world, but still intersects in the world of others. In those moments, we see his deep and complex emotions in those connections.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Too many spider-men. Personally am not a fan of spider-people just being okay with sacrificing people because it’s inevitable. Feels like maybe there’s a movie and a half worth of material and the majority will be in the second movie so this one gets all the fluff (split second cameos).
Everything flashes by so quickly there’s no time to appreciate anything. Less spider-people would make the cameos more impactful and save that time to setting up the villain. Miguel O’Hara…Translated from by -
