Wicked 2024
Going into this movie I knew I had some large expectations considering how much praise it has been receiving but it really lived up to those standards. This has quickly become one of my favourite musicals to date. Sweeney Todd still holds the top spot but this one is now sitting in my Top 3. The songs and set pieces were crafted so well for the big screen and the performances from the cast in general were all sensational. At first I was a little concerned about the “Part One” aspect of the movie but I’m truly looking forward to the continuation.

Beau Is Afraid 2023
This movie is a masterpiece in every way. First time rewatching it after roughly 10 months and I’m still as awe-struck as I was the first time I ever saw it when it was in theatres originally. Terrifier 3 2024
Where to begin! First off, I am very happy that this one stayed in the direction that the 2nd one went. I love the camp, I love the humour but I love how much grittier this one felt throughout. Speak No Evil 2024
James McAvoy delivers another absolute show stopper. His ability to toe the line of charming and sinister is truly beautiful and I hope he continues to take roles where that talent gets to be on full display. It’s also nice to have the characters who we’re rooting for make smart and clever decisions. I also really loved that there were no major “jump scares” the general unease of the situations were more than effective in creating the “horror” of this film!
